Built for a community

Fluster utilizes a plugin focused, slot style architecture with the most popular tech among developers to create an environment that encourages growth. If a core plugin doesn't suite your needs, swap it out for a community plugin.

Built to quantize gravity

Applicable Everywhere

Fluster was built by a single developer with a background in physics to handle his own research after becoming frustrated with other options. There's out of the box support for equations, snippets, bibliography management, task lists, whiteboards, and much, much more.

ntegration

An integral part of Fluster

With day 1 support for integration with Google Calendar and Jupyter and more external integrations planned for the near future, integrating Fluster with your existing workflow should be painless.

Work with Any File Format

Import, edit, and organize all your research materials in one place. No more switching between different applications.

Mdx & Markdown

Write most of your notes in Mdx, a superset of markdown that allows you to embed pre-built react components directly in your notes.

Tabular Data

With support for tabular data of all sorts (csv, excel, etc.), any format that can be interpreted by popular dataframe libraries like Polars and Pandas can be utilized by Fluster.

Numerical Data

Use one of our powerful API's to save your numerical data from a Jupyter session or a long running calculation. Save your data however your workflow requires and allow Fluster to pipe this data to interactive plots and LLM's.

Pdf

Use Fluster as your Rust powered personal RAG pipeline. Let Fluster feed your personal notes along side your bibliography to llm's either locally or remotely to organize your notes like never before.

Images

Use the built-in task manager to keep track of your work by project, by assignment, by class, or however you see fit. Embed task lists directly in your notes to take organization to the next level.

Video

Include lecture recordings and embed links to timestamps directly within your mdx notes with syntax that anyone can learn in 20 minutes.

Just a minute...

I'm homeless and I need your help.

I'm plopping this section in here out of place to try and grab your attention. This app is in it's final stages, but over the coming months while Fluster is in it's early days, I will follow an almost nightly release schedule.

This means that if you try Fluster early, hang in there... it will only get better. I'm releasing this app early, knowing that this might drive users away, but there is a very important reason for this...

After giving up my 9-5 to work on a modified model of relativity I became homeless. I've been homeless for more than 3 years now, spending every minute I had working towards this model, and in turn, Fluster. It was during this pursuit that I built a prior version of Fluster for my own personal use. Now that I'm wrapping up the final stages of Fluster's intial release, I can really use your help.

Summer is here, and this will be my third summer living in my car. If you can, please consider supporting the development of Fluster so maybe me and my puppy can get a hotel on the day's when it's really hot. It is for this reason that much of this website remains unfinished, as I'm focusing on building the remaining 5% of the core application before I come back and migrate the documentation from the previous web based version of Fluster.

No matter my own situation, Fluster is now and will always be free for anyone running it on their own system, no sign up required, ever.
